GB range is available in dry charge condition. Remove the sealing tap if any from vent plug's exhaust hole and fill the electrolyte in each cell upto the upper mark printed on container as per char along. Allow the battery to absorb electrolyte for a minimum period of 2 hours and then put the battery on initial charge at normal current rate as specific above in technical specifiction. Charge the battery for 16 hours or more till the battery voltage and specific gravity of electrolyte in each cell are giving off gas freely. Clean and dry the surface of container and cover and refit the vent plugs. Clean the terminal posts and smear with petrolum jelly.
