  • Electrolyte filling gravity - 1.220 to 27C. Allow rest period before initial charging - 3 hours
  • Continue the charging at specified current mentioned in technical specification till
    (a) Minimum period of 20 hours.
    (b) All the cell gasses freely.
    (c) The battery voltage and specific gravity of electrolyte in each cell remains constand for three successive hourly reading.
  • Discountine charging for a period of time if temperature exceeds 50*C in the cell.
  • On completion of charge, the specific gravity shall be 1.240+-.005 at 27 C. After specific gravity and electrolyte level adjustment further charge the battery for one hour.
